Come Dine In

I am not a good cook, but I love cooking. I am not a food expert, but I love foods. I am a domestic housewife, therefore I believe I will do good in the hospitality industry. I tried to apply as a waitress to different restaurants around. I want to experience first hand how to properly serve foods to customers and to see the daily flow of the business. My dream business is to have a restaurant of my own, but since it’s impossible for now, an experience to it is a major achievement for me. I also tried to apply as a front of house admin because aside from serving foods to customers, I want to experience how to communicate with them. But you know what job I really want? I want to apply as a cook or assistant chef, but no! Not yet. It’s still part of that big dream and when I can achieve it is still a question mark. I can’t understand why culinary courses costs a fortune. I really wish I’d taken a course related to this field. Everytime I search for jobs, experience is always what they are looking for. If only I can answer them back of, “How can we have an experience if you don’t want to hire us?” My friends who are looking for healthcare industry jobs are luckier because there are abundant jobs anywhere and they have hands-on experience to their field even while they were still in college so they get jobs faster.
