FTF: Fried Garlic Porkchop

FTF: Fried Garlic Porkchop

Hubby calls this “Pork Steak”, but I just named it base on what it really is – fried porkchop with garlic, salt and pepper.

I believe I have mentioned in my previous posts that hubby is a steak lover and when I tried this the first time, he loved it like it was a real steak. ;)

INGREDIENTS:

porkchop

garlic, minced

salt

pepper

butter

olive oil

METHOD:

1. Season the porkchop with garlic, salt and pepper, leave for atleast 30 mins.

2. Heat the pan, melt the butter and add a dash of olive oil to keep the butter from burning.

3. Fry the porkchop  until tender.

4. You may add potatoes in the same pan to fry.

5. Serve. We had ours with rice, of course. ;)

This is one very simple recipe, yet loved by my family. Try it in yours and let me know what they think.

I’m back at FTF!!!

i discovered recently that marinated pork chops taste a lot better when marinated longer, or overnight. the meat is also much tender. i usually add tarragon—i love the flavor and aroma is mouth-watering.:p

We usually cook pork chops plain, but I can see that this would be a big hit with my garlic loving family.

You’re right, it is simple, but it still took you effort to write it down and post it before it before it dawned on me.

Now I just need to make sure the chop is nice and juicy and I should score some point for some variety with the family.

    thanks
