Every time I am free to think about just anything, I always imagine how my future house will look like – the living room, the dining, Alyssa’s bedroom and all. Then because I am into cooking and baking, I think of how my dirty kitchen WON’T look like a dirty kitchen at all. I want it to be huge with good lighting and where sun can pass through freely. I would like to have a really nice dining there too just so my kid/s can have a good seat while trying out my kitchen goodies. I want a feel of nature in it so I guess it’s nice to place a jute rug or a bamboo rug on the dining that will match the rugs in the sink. I guess it’s more of a gazebo style.
Did you know that in our house, we only have 1 wall clock? It was a gift from our wedding and it’s what we’ve been using since year 2005. It has already experienced being placed from wall to floor and floor to wall many times. We have moved houses 5 times already and that one and only large wall clock has been our constant time guide in our everyday life. From the moment we wake up – during breakfast, while hubby prepares for work and I and Alyssa prepares for school – until dinner time.
It’s also been my guide most especially when I’m baking as I try to time myself so when future orders arrive, I will know the time frame of my work hoping that I can keep up with the customer’s demand.
I just want to share my first – as in FIRST – fondant I have ever made.
I just made use of what I have at that moment – huge cookie cutters and some basic flowers formed by hand.

Proper tools are needed when doing fondant to achieve the proper effects, but I’m trying to at least get hold of the basic slowly. They are expensive and thorough research is needed before pruchasing anything as each tool is an investment.
