Am I Asking Too Much?
When I started to think about having a cake/cupcake business, I know I will have to invest for so many baking tools, but the problem is, how? They are just too expensive and though hubby is not directly disagreeing with the idea, I can feel that he’s against the spending part. I am trying to spend little by little and I just keep my eyes close every time I hit the word “BUY”. If possible, I also don’t elaborate much to hubby because I don’t want to hear any of his oppinions as I know it already – THAT’S EXPENSIVE!
So far, I already have some of the basics like flower and round cutting tools, impression mats and modelling tools, but there’s so much more to buy. I don’t even have cake pans if I wanted to make layered and tiered cakes and when I told hubby about it, as usual, he said, “That’s expensive!” So, what do I do? No matter how much I want to carry on with this, I just don’t know how. I hate ranting on my blogs, most especially here since this is a food blog, but it’s all I could do and this is about the cake business anyways, so yeah I will just let my heart out here because further discussions with the hubby is not a good idea, but really, I can’t help but ask myself, “Am I asking too much? Isn’t it that what I would want to buy are all for this business which I know in time will give back whatever is spent? This isn’t for my personal interest anyways, right?”
How about you? What do you do when you have a business idea that you really want to pursue and hubby is somewhat not into it?
