It’s been 2 years already since our US visit and I am here hoping to fly there again for the 2nd time around. We’ve already been to 2 states, New York and Washington DC, so there are 48 more states yet to be visited.
But seriously, being able to go around all the different states is such an experience anyone will ever be proud to have done in his/her lifetime.
I am currently considering Missouri as a friend of mine just shared how great place it really is. They just had their Branson vacations and you can just tell from their faces how much they enjoyed it. They also have kids tagged along and they too loved it – happily telling stories about the rides and all. They were able to watch different musicals and also visited one of the theme parks there and as usual, kids loved the latter more, while adults loved both.
I am currently in the process of convincing hubby to have this break and hopefully he gives in to the idea earlier, before we have our 2nd baby at least.
We’ve been here for about 3 years already, but until now we haven’t seen The Lion King Musical. We weren’t even aware in what part of London it is really showed until we finally passed by the place near the Covent Garden, which is by the way our first time to be in as well.
The show has been running in the United Kingdom since 1999 and I believe it’s worth watching. Reviews are great and most says that it’s an awesome performance from start to finish. We’ve already been canvassing around for the theater tickets and hopefully see it before the end of the year, but if not then maybe we can wait until the arrival of my in-laws.
I am not a good cook, but I love cooking. I am not a food expert, but I love foods. I am a domestic housewife, therefore I believe I will do good in the hospitality industry. I tried to apply as a waitress to different restaurants around. I want to experience first hand how to properly serve foods to customers and to see the daily flow of the business. My dream business is to have a restaurant of my own, but since it’s impossible for now, an experience to it is a major achievement for me. I also tried to apply as a front of house admin because aside from serving foods to customers, I want to experience how to communicate with them. But you know what job I really want? I want to apply as a cook or assistant chef, but no! Not yet. It’s still part of that big dream and when I can achieve it is still a question mark. I can’t understand why culinary courses costs a fortune.
I really wish I’d taken a course related to this field. Everytime I search for jobs, experience is always what they are looking for. If only I can answer them back of, “How can we have an experience if you don’t want to hire us?”
My friends who are looking for healthcare industry jobs are luckier because there are abundant jobs anywhere and they have hands-on experience to their field even while they were still in college so they get jobs faster.
Did you know that I’m a big sucker for coupons? Oh yes! I would always search for coupons before I check out because for me, it’s a huge saver and as always, every little helps.
I’ve seen some tiger direct coupons and I would love to use those soon. Hubby and I have been thinking of buying a digital compact camera because it’s always handy and really reliable. Hopefully we can find the right model for us and buy it in a much affordable price.
Last school year, I excerted full effort in making the gifts for Alyssa’s Nursery teachers because she stayed there for more than a year and we had so many memories with them from school trips to school activities, also her last stay there is just in time for Christmas holidays. I baked chocolate cupcakes and an AVP of all the pics I’ve taken. You can view the recipe HERE and the story HERE.

More soft and chewey crinkles

Personalized Cards made more personalized by Alyssa's hand-writings.
This school year, I still made sure that we give the teachers personalized gifts so I baked chocolate crinkles and even though I’m not gifted with crafty hands, I still tried my best to design the cards myself. Alyssa helped me with the crinkles, but no luck with the cards.
I tweaked my usual crinkles recipe this time and so far I’m happy with the texture, but still not contented with the taste. I’m gonna update my recipe soon.
Holidays are time spent away from the reality of our lives. We escape the monotony, the noise, the banter, and the incessant need for productivity. Villas are the perfect setting for that escape as they host visitors around the world in a fresh world of peace and tranquility. Often times surrounded by exquisite terrain and boundless hills, villas set the pace of your next holiday as they invite us to truly smell the roses and breathe in the air around us. With on-site pools and hot tubs to flower gardens and tennis courts, your villa can be your next home away from home.
Villa holidays take you and your family to a new place all the while maintaining a home-like quality. Because villas are essentially large-scale homes, often referred to as chateaus or manors, they represent the vacation that still requires the practical necessities. Staying at a villa means you will have access to the same household rooms, appliances, and decor as your own home but amplified. The authentic style of the villa at which you stay helps you assimilate into the locale of your holiday.
One step outside, however, and you will become immersed in the region you are visiting which will remind you that you have traversed lands and are certainly not at home anymore. You will have entered a new, temporary home that can be all you imagine it to be. From the endless choice of amenities that your villa offers to simply the city or town in which you wish to stay, you can customize your holiday trip to your unique interests and needs. Your choices range from beachside villas to those along a winding road. Online inquiries help you compare prices and narrow down your options about when, where and how to stay in a villa for your next holiday.
I already miss wearing a long gown, it’s been what, 3 years?
That was when I attended the wedding of one of hub’s bestfriends and so I am really excited for the upcoming wedding of my dearest and one and only sis-in-law in December. I was reading about a diet pill review which I would really want to try when I realized that taking them now will only be useless. It’s only 3 months from now and we’ll already try to conceive for our baby #2. Now that’s a huge problem – for sure my gown will be finished 2 months before the wedding and how it will fit my bulging tummy is the question. Oh well, I’ll think about it when I’m already there.
For now, I’m in the process of preparing myself for a healthier and stronger me before I undergo a serious prepregnancy diet by October.
