Preparing for Prepregnancy Diet

I already miss wearing a long gown, it’s been what, 3 years? :lol: That was when I attended the wedding of one of hub’s bestfriends and so I am really excited for the upcoming wedding of my dearest and one and only sis-in-law in December. I was reading about a diet pill review which I would really want to try when I realized that taking them now will only be useless. It’s only 3 months from now and we’ll already try to conceive for our baby #2. Now that’s a huge problem – for sure my gown will be finished 2 months before the wedding and how it will fit my bulging tummy is the question. Oh well, I’ll think about it when I’m already there. :lol:

For now, I’m in the process of preparing myself for a healthier and stronger me before I undergo a serious prepregnancy diet by October. ;)

Apple and Honey Facial Mask

source

Here I go again… Because I started looking for some home-made beauty tips, I can’t stop myself and now wanting for more! ;) Apple and honey??? Yum!!! :lol: But applying them to face? eeekk!!! That’s sweet! haha!!! Well if you’re afraid of going to the derma (I am! :? ) then why not try doing some yummylicious home-made facial masks? It is said that this facial mask and the oatmeal facial mask I just posted earlier help treat acne. I don’t have pimples, but clearing my face with those white and black creatures is what I badly wanted. evil

Now how do you do it? Simple. If you have a blender or food processor, blend the peeled and cored apples and mix with 3-4 tablespoons of honey until you make a paste-like mixture. Apply to your face, relax and rinse off with warm water after 20 minutes. Done. Enjoy the refreshing feeling of the yummy apple shake you just dumped into your face. :lol:

Let me know if you’ve also tried this, I will as soon as I buy honey this weekend. I only have golden syrup here and I know it’ll be a disaster if I use that. haha!!!

World Cup Special Lunch Menu

I know… I know… I’m too late! :lol: England’s game came to an end a week ago already yet I am just sharing with you something about it. I was just so suprised to see that my daughter’s school prepared a 2-week lunch menu with varieties from different worldcup participating countries.

Here’s their 1st week “World Cup Lunch Menu” and I believe this is really helpful for my struggling meal planner. ;)

world cup lunch menu

One reason why I like Alyssa to have school-served meals than packed lunch is because I know the school makes sure that foods served are always nutritionally balanced. It’s really good that kids are able to get used to nutritious and completely balanced foods so they can spare themselves from reading some prevera reviews, just like what I am doing now. They are more likely to develop healthy skin and bodies which I’m sure she won’t regret when she is already consious about them.

Cranberry Juice – Prevents and Treats UTI

This post is to show how fruits really take a huge part in our health.

Last month, I had a hard time peeing and it lasted for 2 weeks. I had an idea that it was a UTI (Unrinary Tract Infection) and when I researched on it, all my weird feelings matches with the symptoms. Right there and then, I researched for possible treatments and I want one that’s fast and will not require a doctor’s visit.

Then most of the articles are saying that cranberry juice is a proven treatment. Since I am a few steps away from the nearest store, I bought 1 litre and started drinking when I reached home. I haven’t finished a glass yet, but I already felt the effect of it. I don’t feel like urinating anymore and I managed not to pee for a few hours, unlike the past few days were I do almost 3x an hour.

I just continued drinking and after 2 days, I’m totally UTI free! No more cramps, no more bloody urine and just normal urinating periods.

Here are the sympoms of UTI that I’ve experienced.

√Frequent urge to urinate;

√Despite the urge to urinate, only a small amout of urine is passed;

√Painful and burning feeling during and after urination;

√Feels bad all over – tired, shaky and washed out; and

√There’s a little blood after every pee.

All of these were gone right before I finish my 1 litre of cranberry juice. Indeed it’s effective, but if it continues better go to your doctor because a serious infection may lead to fever, pain in the back or side below the ribs, nausea, or vomiting.
