White Porcelain Serving Plates

Every year we would celebrate our birthdays in a simple way, eat at home with some friends. For Mark and Alyssa’s birthday last year we had a simple gathering in our house with the same set of friends for guests. So I was thinking maybe it’s nice to invest in some color coordinated serving plates and my eyes are set on these.

Wouldn’t it be nice to have all those matching white porcelain serving plates?  I’m sure my guests will be so thrilled to try out my dishes with all these nice plates. Wish I can expand our budget this month so I can convince my husband Mark to get me those porcelain serving plates and a gps golf watch for my uncle’s birthday next month.

My New Kitchen Faves

I have already blogged about the start of the installment delivery of my CSN Store orders and just to complete, here goes the others.

We ordered:

  • 3 different pans – 1 for pancakes/crepes, 1 for frying which is deeper than what we already have and 1 grill pan. We love Tefal brand and we’re so happy that they are available in the store;
  • Kenwood hand mixer to replace my almost 3 years old one;
  • Stainless steel measuring cups and spoons;
  • Grater for my daughter’s favorite cheese; and
  • Whisk which I use for my cakes, most of the time.

Actually, hubby was the one who shopped for those as he enjoys shopping for the kitchen too. I’m so happy to have a husband who shares the same interests as me, well, at least for the kitchen interests. :lol: He was looking for billiards supplies to gift to a friend, but I bet he didn’t see one so all that’s been delivered are just for our kitchen.

Shopping for New Kitchenware

I already got my gift code from CSN store and now hubby’s helping me shop. I do love shopping most especially when it’s free and hubby enjoys it even more. I’m so lucky to have a hubby who cares about our house as much as I do and he even gets excited when we buy new things for the house. This time, we decided to use our free gift code to buy some kitchenware as he knows I love to cook and even bake.

I am eyeing a cake stand that’s on sale now for I think more than half price and hubby was joking – like, mum, you should first know the definition of cash value. I don’t really get what he means and I am just so used to her accountant/auditor alien terms that I no longer mind whatever he means. :lol: I Just said yes and continued adding some more to my cart. So far, I have already placed there cupcake tower plate so I can get pretty nice pictures when I photograph my cupcakes and a nice cake stand too. This gets me even more excited to make cakes and cupcakes. :)
