Spread to Bread
My mommy friend from Israel shared some yummy spread recipes to me last week. This is also a good baon idea for my mommy friends whose kids are about to go back to school next month.
Herb Basil Spread
Ingredients:
1/4 cup store-bought pesto
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp salt
1 pack 225 grams cream cheese
1 tsp chopped garlic
Ham Spread
Ingredients:
1 pack 225 grams cream cheese
2 cups sweet ham, finely chopped
1/2 cup drained canned pimiento chopped finely
1/2 cup grated cheese
salt and pepper to taste
Method:
Combine all the ingredients in a mixing bowl. Mix well using a rubber spatula. Season with salt and pepper if needed. Transfer to a plastic container and store in the refrigerator and use spread within 4 days.
